CHATTEL ABODE is a creative company producing premium arts experiences rooted in cultural awareness and social relevance. Inspired by the Barbadian chattel house, the company creates artistic experiences that are rooted yet adaptable to the communities and cultural contexts in which they are presented.
Through performance, education and creative collaboration, Chattel Abode develops initiatives that encourage artistic excellence, celebrate cultural identity and create meaningful connections between artists and audiences.
Current initiatives include Wall of Sound, a contemporary vocal ensemble produced by Chattel Abode, and Vocal Musicianship Training Sessions, which provides practical training in vocal technique, musicianship, performance and professional development for singers.
